A paper about T-REX presented by IK4-TEKNIKER at Servitization 2014

Oscar Revilla, T-REX researcher at IK4-TEKNIKER, presented the paper “Extending manufacturing towards service-oriented business models: the T-REX technological levers that support this extension” in the 3rd International Conference on Business Servitization (http://www.servitization.org) which took place in Bilbao (Spain) in November 13th-14th, during the Session about Servitization in Manufacturing Settings.

T-REX developed specific technologies and tools (grouped into four different ‘levers’) that will empower the companies (specially SMEs) in the development of advanced Service-Oriented Business Models for new Product-Service Systems (PSS) offering, were presented in order to promote a shift from value in exchange to value in use for customer needs satisfaction. Special attention to the Maintenance Lever to implement Condition Monitoring technologies that lead to a Condition based Maintenance (CbM) and a Fleet Management (FM) future scenario.
